The ADU’s are regulated by the towns and cities not the state.

Those 30 day permitting times have really put a strain on city building departments. Not going to complain about ADU because they’ve become revenue for me. But also you should be allowed to do whatever you want on your property. As for affordable housing, it’s a huge scam that makes developers rich
