Teach me your language, because I want to speak it fluently. Teach me your quiet places. The parts of you that you don’t show to the world. The fears you don’t always say out loud. The dreams you keep tucked away. The old hurts that still make you wince a little when they’re touched. Help me understand them — not so I can judge them, but so I can learn how to hold them gently. Tell me what feels too much, and what feels not enough. Show me where the edges are, so I never step on what is tender within you.
