@usatoday: Hurricane Isaias has strengthened into a major hurricane as it moves toward the Gulf Coast and an expected landfall later Friday or overnight. ⠀ Federal forecasters expect Isaias to make landfall near Pensacola, Florida, with tropical storm conditions expected from New Orleans to the Tallahassee, Florida area. Inland Tropical Storm Watch alerts extend all the way to Birmingham, Alabama.
