Pat Sajak Makes Rare Public Appearance After Retirement to Honor Air Supply on Walk of Fame Former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak made a rare public appearance following his retirement to honor close friends Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply at their Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. Speaking at the event on Thursday, the 79-year-old TV legend praised the iconic music duo for entertaining sold-out crowds worldwide for over 50 years. Sajak noted that he understands the challenge of not wearing out one's welcome after hosting his iconic game show for more than four decades, commending Air Supply for never phoning in a performance. Sajak shared that he and his wife, Lesly Brown, have maintained a longtime friendship with the musicians, whose songs have served as the soundtrack to many fans' most memorable moments.
