Be very specific.I'm serious, One way to build a personality is to be able to understand what you are talking about in depth. If you're going to talk about boxing, go into depth. That's what makes your audience automatically define you that way.

Would love to hear if you have any texts/exercises/starting questions you recommend to help build out a structure or break down your personal brand! I’m someone who has had these moments of virality that are sometimes enigmas to me (i.e. why did THIS piece succeed rather than another) and I’ve always wanted to build out a solid base to return to for what content I’d like to make :)

I’m Gen X and have a deep mistrust/hatred for social media. I know I’m missing out on financial opportunities but I see no way to be authentic when I’ve turned myself into a commodity. I wish I could get past this feeling and buy in. What you say makes a lot of sense, just maybe not for me.

That’s a big thing I’ve noticed from my creator friends is that the ones who post EVERYTHING in their lives burn out faster and feel a need to make everything content. They never get to be “off work” so to speak. Having parts of my life low visibility or even secret makes managing my “brand” a lot easier imo.
