@directrelief: Direct Relief is closely monitoring the situation following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Panama’s Azuero Peninsula, with initial reports indicating significant damage in areas near the epicenter. As damage assessments continue, Direct Relief is coordinating with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), which has Direct Relief emergency medical supplies prepositioned in Panama City and available for immediate deployment if needed.
