Do ya know what else is used to reheat the bitumen and melt it? Where do you think all your used motor oil goes everytime you have an oil change? The dealerships and shops resell your used, dirty oil and it's its used as fuel to fire the furnaces that make ashfault. Sometimes its even an active ingredient

A bitumen tanker truck trailer for asphalt plant delivery had a tank heater malfunction, the entire tank went hard and they had no choice but to scrap the whole thing, it's been sitting up the quarry with the back cut off for over 10 years now and the bitumen is almost touching the ground
