@sjvelandmkitwing: 2026-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான அமைதிக்கான நோபல் பரிசுக்குத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள திருமிகு நவநீதம் பிள்ளை அவர்களுக்கு எனது நெஞ்சார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகள்! ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்காகவும், குரலற்றவர்களின் உரிமைகளுக்காகவும் தமது வாழ்நாளையே அர்ப்பணித்த அவரது நெடிய பயணத்திற்குக் கிடைத்துள்ள அங்கீகாரம் இது! 2012-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜெனீவாவில் உள்ள ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையில் அவரைச் சந்தித்து, ஈழத்தமிழர்களின் துயர்மிகுந்த வாழ்வையும், நீதிக்காகவும் கண்ணியமான வாழ்வுக்காகவும் அவர்கள் நடத்திவரும் போராட்டத்தையும் எடுத்துரைத்ததை இத்தருணத்தில் நெகிழ்வுடன் நினைவுகூர்கிறேன். நிறவெறிக்கு எதிரான போராட்டத்தில் தொடங்கி, உலகெங்கிலும் மனித உரிமைகளுக்காகக் குரல்கொடுப்பது வரை, துணிச்சலும் கொள்கை உறுதியும் நிறைந்தது அவரது பயணம்! மனித உரிமைகளுக்காகவும் நீதிக்காகவும் அவர் ஆற்றிவரும் பணி, வருங்காலத் தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் தொடர்ந்து ஊக்கமளிக்கட்டும்! My heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Navi Pillay on being named the recipient of the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize! This recognition is a tribute to a lifetime dedicated to standing up for the oppressed and the voiceless. I fondly recall meeting her at the United Nations in Geneva in 2012, when I raised the plight of Eelam Tamils and their struggle for justice and dignity. From fighting apartheid to championing human rights across the world, her journey has been defined by courage and conviction. May her lifelong commitment to human rights and justice continue to inspire generations to come!
