Some songs are beautiful to listen to… and then there are the ones that reach right into your heart and put words to something you’ve carried inside for years. ❤️🎶 “God’s Girl” by The Timothy Scott Project did exactly that for me. The voices, the music, and especially the lyrics touched something deep in my soul. I’m a Christian, and my faith is a very important part of who I am. It’s carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, including two battles with cancer. I’m blessed to be a rectal cancer survivor since 2010 and a Stage 3 HER2+ breast cancer survivor since October 2013. 🙏❤️ I’ve had moments of fear, uncertainty, tears, and struggles. My life hasn’t always been easy, and it’s certainly not perfect. Neither am I. But through it all, my faith has given me strength, hope, and reasons to keep moving forward. And here’s something else that’s equally important to me… I know we don’t all share the same faith, beliefs, or perspectives on life. And that’s okay. ❤️ I don’t believe we have to think alike or believe alike to treat one another with kindness, compassion, love, and respect. I hope everyone has something meaningful in their life that gives them strength when they need it, and values that encourage them to be good and do good. Because at the end of the day, what matters so much to me is the goodness we carry in our hearts and the way we treat one another. Be good. Do good. Love deeply. Respect others. ❤️ My life isn’t perfect. I’m not perfect. But I am grateful. I am blessed. My faith is strong.
