JASON LEE REMOVED AS STOCKTON VICE MAYOR “We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard!”, Mayor Christina Fugazi exclaimed as she accepted a second to her motion to strip Jason Lee the title of vice mayor, from Brando Villapudua who is currently under investigation for multiple complaints of s*xual assault after four years of consistent misconduct including flipping off the public during meetings. After hours of listening to dozens of speakers on both sides of the issue, the council members weighed in. Councilmember Michele Padilla gave a level headed argument for why she thought Lee should no longer be vice mayor, including his conduct during meetings and comments on social media. That assessment was followed by an unhinged rant from Mayor Fugazi who started by telling an incoherent story about getting into it with a shopper at the store. That was followed by her wagging her fingers and waving papers while arguing with members of the audience about why she insulted other members of the audience. Fugazi then asked for a second to her motion, that she never made, then had to be corrected by the City Attorney. She motioned to remove the title of Vice Mayor from Jason Lee, after bestowing that title on him herself. For 2 years she took no action until Lee recently called out and got a contract cancelled during an Audit committee hearing that was allegedly going to her friend- disgraced former mayor Anthony Silva via his sister who put her name on the newly formed business’ paperwork. The contract was for $114,000 to manage two city pools and be able to keep the proceeds from selling concessions and rental fees. That motion was hypocritically seconded by Villapudua, the most controversial and disruptive member on the council who has a criminal history for a home invasion burglary of an elderly disabled woman. He even stole her VCR, pleading guilty in exchange to provide police with a statement allegedly against his friend that he recruited for the job. That person went to prison. Brando didn’t.
