@c5news: Donald Trump has shared a video of himself with a tiger with scenes in the clip appearing to mirror those in the moments before a man was mauled to death in Yorkshire. In his latest posting-spree on Truth Social, the US President on Wednesday shared a 23-second clip of him with a tiger, to the song ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’. The post follows the death of William Chapman at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, around 1.40pm on Saturday. The 23-year-old climbed into the enclosure of a rare Amur tiger called Altai and was mauled to death despite zoo workers trying desperately to distract the animal. Chapman, who died at the scene, was seen appearing to point and appearing to tell the animal off before it attacked him. Mr Trump’s AI-generated video shows him in the tiger enclosure and begins with him beneath the animal, pointing at it, before he chases it around. The president and the apex predator embrace at the end of it. The post comes as Chapman’s family expressed their frustration at clips of the attack being shared on social media, saying: “The publication and circulation of deeply offensive media content is causing them severe distress at an exceptionally vulnerable time. We ask people to stop doing this.” The video has been widely shared across social media platforms and condemned as being in bad taste.
