@astheworldpurrs: Opal here with a Carlson Cottage progress report. The mama has been showing me pictures, and frankly, I have concerns. 🐾 First, the faucets are black. We selected BRUSHED NICKEL. It complements my fur when I’m sitting on the counter. The mama says I’m not supposed to be on the counter, but I don’t think this is the time to introduce controversial policies. Thankfully, our builder is getting the faucets corrected. The counter policy remains unresolved. I will say, the kitchen came with an excellent selection of cardboard boxes. Finally, some furnishings I didn’t have to specify. I assume those are staying. Then I reviewed the foster room sink. Good news: that faucet isn’t black. Bad news: that faucet doesn’t exist. Um. I think there’s still something wrong here. They also put the washable flooring in the WRONG ROOM. How are we supposed to host foster kittens on CARPET? Have these people met a kitten? I live with Theodore. I know what we’re dealing with. The mama says this has been corrected. Excellent. One less thing for me to lose sleep over. I need those 18 hours. On a more promising note, my catio is coming along. A screened lounge where I can enjoy fresh air, watch birds, and judge the neighborhood? Finally, something that reflects my needs. The mama keeps calling it “the screened porch,” which is adorable. We’re getting closer. But clearly, this project requires continued feline oversight. Respectfully, Opal Future counter occupant, Carlson Cottage 🐾
