🐟 Under Pressure: The Truth About the Blobfish! Ever wonder why the Blobfish looks like a grumpy puddle? It’s actually a deep-sea marvel! 🌊 In its home 4,000 feet below the surface, the water pressure is 120 times higher than on land. This pressure acts like an "invisible suit," holding the fish's gelatinous body in a normal, fish-like shape. When brought to the surface, the lack of pressure causes its body to expand and collapse into the famous "blob" look we see here. It doesn't have a skeleton or muscles; it just lets the ocean do the heavy lifting! #Blobfish #MarineLife #DeepSea #OceanFacts #NatureCuriosity Would you like me to find more facts about other "ugly" deep-sea creatures?
He wasn't trying to destroy the world. He was trying to save it. 👑 #fvsalvo #thanos #mindset #usa #fyp

Kösem Sultan was one of the most influential women of the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. She was born around 1589 and is believed to have come from a Greek family. Her original name was probably Anastasia. At a young age, she entered the harem of Sultan Ahmed I and became his favorite consort. She gave birth to several of his children, including the future sultans Murad IV and Ibrahim I. After Ahmed I’s death in 1617, Kösem continued to hold significant influence at the Ottoman court. Her role became especially important during the reigns of her sons and her grandson Mehmed IV. Kösem Sultan twice held the position of Valide Sultan — the mother of the reigning sultan. She was actively involved in state affairs and became one of the most powerful women in the Ottoman Empire. In 1651, Kösem Sultan was killed during a palace power struggle. Her death became one of the most well-known events of the period known as the “Sultanate of Women.”
