🔥 That burning pain between your shoulder blades? It's NOT from tight, shortened rhomboids — it's from muscles that are OVERSTRETCHED and weak. Here's what's really happening…

In today's screen-heavy world, we sit with rounded shoulders and a forward head. This pulls the scapulae apart (protraction), placing the rhomboids in a chronically lengthened position. Muscles held in a stretched position develop: ⚡ Strain-related microtrauma ⚡ Trigger points (found in 75% of people with upper back pain!) ⚡ Weakness and fatigue So what does this mean for treatment? ❌ STOP aggressively stretching or rolling out your already overstretched rhomboids ✅ START strengthening the Rhomboids and other scapular retractors (AS SHOWN IN VIDEO) Other important strategies (NOT SHOWN IN VIDEO): ✅ STRETCH the tight anterior muscles (pecs & upper traps) ✅ FIX your posture (especially at a workstation) The pain isn't from shortening — it's from a muscle crying out because it's been pulled too far for too long. #Rhomboids #Neckpain #Shoulderbladepain #Shoulderpain #Physicaltherapy
