One thing you have to give the Fire Nation’s royal family is that they always stood their ground. Regardless of what the rest of the world, other rulers, or even those in positions of authority demanded of them, they remained fiercely loyal to their own convictions, principles, and beliefs. They were determined, ambitious, and unwavering in defending what they personally believed was right. Whether it was General Iroh II defying President Raiko, Fire Lord Izumi refusing to bow to the pressure of other world powers to drag her nation into another war, or Ursa doing everything in her power to protect her children. Whether their convictions were morally right or wrong, one thing remained consistent throughout generations: they had the courage and determination to stand by what they believed in, even when the entire world stood against them.

I wish we got Fire nation scenes in Korra. I get that ATLA focused on the fire nation, but it would’ve been nice to see its developments
