In watercolor, overpriced brushes and papers are definitely worth it, as for the watercolor itself... definitely not worth it, they are the same as a on-budget one

I hate it when I get expensive things and they do work I bought $40 watercolors and I’m so pissed and happy they work bcs when I run out I’ll have to get them again 😭😭😭

I know it's better but I feel like my skill level does not deserve that kind of paper yet 😂 I'm using a mid-priced paper that takes layers well so until I gain way more skill the good paper is not for me. I have to remind myself of this every time I walk by it...

Baihong is cheaper if you want to save and is comparable to reputable brands. Tho still depends it’s cheaper in your area
