@ikeepca1m: ⛵ I added actual sailing ships to vanilla Minecraft For the next epoch of my Lord of the Mysteries server, world generation is completely shifting toward vast, open ocean. Vanilla Minecraft barely has any ocean content to justify that, so I decided to build an entire custom naval combat and sailing system straight into the game. You can design your vessel block-by-block out of standard blocks, take the helm, and steer it across the water as a fully functional ship. You can mount deck cannons, line up broadside volleys to blow holes straight through enemy hulls in open-water PvP, or ram opposing vessels and grapple onto their deck for boarding skirmishes. The deep sea won't empty either, but I can't share more details right now. The best part is that all physics and calculations run entirely server-side, meaning anyone can join and sail on a 100% vanilla client without needing any mods or custom launchers installed. There is an optional companion mod if you want extra visual polish and interface perks, but it's completely optional. The ship in this clip is the Kingfisher Brig v2, the largest of the WIP premade ship templates. Re-upload because the last one had worse quality after upload than I initially anticipated #Minecraft #minecraftserver #lotm #lordofthemysteries #gaming #minecraftbuilds #indiedev
