Yes we have the same problem in France, and in the French Dom Tom you can see a biscuits 12euro, this is crazy. And a handicap have 600eur for live 😔

I’m Italian, I work in the restaurant of a 4* hotel. The Chef told us to go easy on side dishes (such as vegetables indeed) because he can’t find any good vegetable supplier atm. he’s been told by suppliers that we can just forget about vegetables for now. They don’t have them anymore.

We used to be able to cook tomato sauce at home, in Serbia/Croatia, and we do similar winter food by roasting peppers, eggplant and tomatos. You used to buy kilos of these vegetables to make 20-30 jars for the winter, maybe more. Knowing the prices of veg now, I don’t know how people can afford this anymore. My parents still do it, but I live in the UK and I would not be able to afford this.

Avoid supermarkets and go strait to farmers. I found farmers for everything I need and go to same people every month. It works out 50% cheaper

Questa è la cosa che mi ha fatto più rabbia, i prezzi salgono perché “non se ne è prodotti abbastanza” ma la verità è che gli agricoltori guadagnano sempre lo stesso e la scusa è solo per far lievitare i prezzi. Io vivo a Londra ma ogni volta che torno a Napoli i prezzi sono il doppio, ma la gente normale o i pensionati come fanno? Li stanno riducendo a dover scegliere se mangiare o no, ma stiamo scherzando? Spero che bloccano tutto e li fanno tremare una volta e per tutte

All over Europe. The price of meat is quite a lot in Finland. But. Then we have the small producer who wants a small salary from it, the workers who want a salary, and the supermarket who want to profit.

Im from Uk amd have just spent 3 months there m Italy în a non Tourist area and I could believe how expensive everything was.. seriously we’re on twice the money în the Uk amd everything is actually cheaper
