really good gamers know this. we've known forever. same as sound. some of us can hear directional audio far better, and are more tuned to even the most minor audio faults. others just dont see it.

I known this since I was 10 I was perceiving 60fps games at 240 and at 0 ping I’ve practically been seeing the future I can see the tiniest drop in frames even when people don’t notice them

You can train yourself to see higher FPS. Back when i used to play CoD BO2 I started around 7 sensitivity, and by the time I quit i'd typically be on either 11 or 14 hip firing. Got to a point I could literally see everything normally while playing on 14 spinning. Playing on anything under 10 felt like I was watching a slow-mo replay.

bro, I play on 100fps because my ultrawide monitor is 100 hertz and when I switch to 60fps to increase graphics I GENUINELY cannot play, especially if its a precision game like an fps. 60fps is very very noticeably sluggish. and people said that humans can only see 60fps, I promise you I can see and feel the difference between 60 and 100 with every ounce of my body

Halo camo taught me this. Teammates never saw camo guy but I would peel the dude with sniper and my eagle eye vision everytime.

im one of those people. the problem for me, is even though i see well.. my brain doesnt instantly develope a plan of action fast enough. or rather, it makes several but is indecisive and that neurological lag is actually a hindrance for fast paced shooters.
