@specnews1socal: LA mayoral candidate Nithya Raman blamed both Mayor Karen Bass and DWP for high electricity bills. Raman claimed that under Bass, rates have increased by 40%. If elected mayor, Raman said she would end the DWP’s “abuse” of a “hidden loophole” that has increased bills. Spectrum News has reached out to DWP for comment. #localnews

LADWP is pure evil. They jacked up my monthly rate by $800 bc they came to read my water meter and couldn’t read it bc the screen was dirty and scratched up. The only ones that touch the meter is their employees so not my fault if they scratched it up.
