@thesameerproject: So many children in Gaza desperately need ongoing medical treatment. Hospitals and rehabilitation facilities have been destroyed, and those still operating are doing everything they can to care for patients. But what good is medical care if patients cannot reach it? For the exhausted, the sick, the injured, and children with disabilities, transportation can mean the difference between receiving treatment and going without. In this video, a mother whose child has cerebral palsy describes the struggle of getting her child to necessary appointments. The Sameer Project provides free transportation to medical facilities, including Al-Shifa Hospital and Hamad Hospital, helping patients continue receiving the care they desperately need.
