@botsbesnatching: A retired NYPD detective was busted Wednesday in the deadly shooting of a hardworking dad of two along the George Washington Bridge in what appeared to be a fit of road rage, cops and sources said. The retiree — who hung up his badge 25 years ago — was taken into custody less than 24 hours after Koran Irvine, 46, was blasted in the right shoulder around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on the New Jersey-bound upper level of the crossing, according to the sources. The suspect, who was not immediately identified by police, was awaiting charges by the late afternoon in connection to the shooting.
