In Buddhism, Samsara is the idea that we are all living inside a cycle. It’s often described as the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, but it also shows up in everyday life, in the way we repeat the same patterns. Wanting something, chasing it, finally getting it, feeling satisfied for a moment… and then wanting something else again. Holding onto things like people, outcomes, identities and suffering when they change or disappear. From the outside, this just feels like normal life. But in Buddhism, it’s seen as a loop we don’t even realize we’re in. The image you’re seeing is called the Wheel of Samsara. It’s a visual way of showing this cycle, different states of life, different experiences, all turning over and over again. At the center are the forces that keep the cycle going: boar, chicken amd snake represent desire, fear, and ignorance. It’s not meant to scare you, but to make you aware. Because once you begin to see the pattern, you’re no longer completely trapped in it.
I’ve seen two different takes on this scene, and I honestly think there’s more to Pheem’s reaction than simply being a rich girl who isn’t used to hearing no. I’m not saying her money and privilege don’t play a role in how she handles situations, because I think they do. But I also think we’re seeing a woman who is deeply insecure and terrified of losing someone she loves. And when you consider Pheem’s insecurity about Pan being attracted to men, especially what we know from the novel, it adds another layer to her reaction. The possibility of losing Pan to a man isn’t just jealousy. I think it brings out that fear of not being enough. What stood out to me most was Pheem sitting outside that door. The way she leaned against it, closed her eyes, and just looked completely defeated. That didn’t look like someone simply throwing a tantrum because she couldn’t get her way. To me, it looked like someone who was finally realizing that she couldn’t control the outcome. But I also want to make something clear. Understanding Pheem doesn’t mean excusing her actions. Pan has been hurt too, and she shouldn’t have to constantly reassure Pheem at the expense of her own feelings. I can defend Pheem’s character and recognize where her insecurities come from while still acknowledging that she has hurt Pan. I think that’s what makes these two characters so complicated. Neither one is perfect, and both have their own pain to work through. Pheem needs to learn that loving someone doesn’t mean having control over whether they stay. And Pan deserves to be loved without having to lose herself in the process. 🤍 #PlsLoveรักได้ไหมEP6 #LenaMiu #LalinaLena #MiuNatsha #PIsLove
