@rootstorecovery: LIFE IN ACTIVE ADDICTION ALMOST BROKE US… People see us in recovery, but they don't always see the battles we've fought to get here. Active addiction can take us to some incredibly dark places. We've faced pain, loss, shame and moments when we couldn't see a way forward. But recovery shows us that no matter how far we've fallen, there is always hope for a different future. 🌅 The strength it took to survive can help us rebuild. The resilience we developed can help us face life's challenges, and the courage it took to ask for help can become the beginning of a whole new life. Recovery isn't about being perfect. It's about progress, learning to forgive ourselves, rebuilding relationships, discovering who we are and finding reasons to smile again. If you're still struggling with addiction, please don't believe that this is how your story has to end. You are worthy of recovery, worthy of love and worthy of a future beyond anything your past has led you to expect. We've survived the darkness. Now we have the chance to discover just how beautiful life can be in the light. 🕯 One day at a time. One step at a time. Never lose hope. Your best chapters may still be ahead of you. Love and light to you all. 👏🏻🙏🏻💜 #RecoveryWarrior #RecoveryResilience #StrengthInRecovery #OvercomingAddiction #NeverGiveUp
