Let’s talk about seizures on call! They can be one of the most intimidating things to manage in real time, especially when you walk into the room and the patient is actively seizing. Having a simple framework makes it much easier: Is the seizure still happening? Are they stable? Do they need benzodiazepines? Could this be status epilepticus? And once it stops, why did it happen? The key is to stop the seizure, stabilize the patient, then work through the cause. Another episode of THE CALL ROOM. Follow for more practical on-call approaches, and comment what you want me to cover next. #medicine #resident #residency #oncall

For the longest time, I thought my hair just wouldn’t grow past a certain length 🥲 But my hair WAS growing. My problem was that my ends were constantly breaking and splitting, so I wasn’t keeping the length I was growing. I used to think trimming my hair was the only answer. But I’d get a trim, my ends would look better for a little while, and then I felt like I was right back where I started and stuck right at mid chest. One thing I started using consistently was a leave-in split end mender. My ends feel softer, more moisturized, and I’ve been able to focus more on keeping the length I grow instead of constantly feeling like I need to cut it off. I wish I understood sooner that growing your hair and keeping your length aren’t the same thing 🫶🏻 If your ends are dry, rough, or breaking, this is the leave in I use. Comment LENGTH and I’ll send you the link. This lasts me around 8-10 months, so I’m not constantly having to repurchase it 🥰 Follow for more healthy hair tips 🦋 #healthyhair #longhair #hairbreakage #hairbeforeandafter #healthyhairtips
