I wouldn’t risk it with Legionella, 60°+ is best

Or if you leave your roomstat at your desired temp the boiler will only come on when room temp drops below the set temperature

Here’s mine… new build flat, almost 5 years and hardly used unless I need to dry bedding or towels 👍👍

Run my combi flow temp at 45’c with all trv’s full open. Rads do not get burning hot so safer for the gkids, while house is comfortable at a room temp around 20-22’C. Cost of gas? Circa £2.50 per day. Try it - and see for yourself how economical it is

it will take longer for the House to warm up though...so I've increased my flow back to 65°

I literally read the manual for my boiler the other night (same one) and it says between min and E the boiler will run most efficient, lower than E will just use less gas. So this is correct 👍 I don’t know if it’s the same with yours when the heating is on but all thermostats are satisfied the boiler is still running just without the burner on is this the same for yours?

Thought condensing boilers weren’t efficient if you lowered their temp too much?

I can confirm we needed our boiler on for just 10 minutes to heat the room we were using sufficiently

Tom :
If you have a system that switches off the boiler when all rooms are satisfied, your better off having it on hot so it gets there quickly

BenDH75 :
It all depends on how they sized your radiators. If you lower the mean water temperature by turning down the flow then you won’t get as much heat out of the radiator. Less heat output might mean colder rooms if the radiators weren’t oversized.
