@itszig_: I’m 27 and I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that… 1. I don’t really have close friends. No group of girlfriends, no one outside of family I can really call when I’m down. Making new friends as an adult has been a lot harder than I expected. 2. I’ve been creating content on and off since 2016. I’ve always wanted to take it seriously, but being scared to put myself out there has held me back. 3. I don’t have any savings. I really thought I’d feel more financially secure by 27. 4. I grew up Black in Scotland. I got used to not quite fitting in, and thought moving to London would be different. Turns out, finding where you belong in a big city can be just as hard. 5. I still struggle with routines. Even basic things can overwhelm me, and consistency is something I’m still trying to figure out. 6. I studied law, but my career looks nothing like I thought it would. Years of job searching and rejection have knocked a lot of the ambition and confidence out of me. 7. I’m scared I’m wasting my 20s.
