One of the hardest parts of sharing my recovery online is knowing that everyone has an opinion about what they think my care should look like (I know y’all just really care and I LOVE y’all for that). The truth is, recovery is rarely that simple. Because of my medical situation, my treatment plan isn’t going to look exactly like someone else’s.. and that’s okay. My team and I are carefully building a plan that prioritizes both my physical safety and my ED recovery. Every decision is being made thoughtfully, and every step forward matters. Today I met with my new ED-specialized nutritionist, and I walked away with something I haven’t felt in a while: hope. Especially after the phone call I had yesterday with an ED treatment center (not their fault! It’s regulations.) We created goals that feel realistic instead of impossible. I felt truly seen, not just for my weight, but as a whole person navigating a very complex illness. Recovery isn’t about proving anything to the internet. It’s about choosing life over and over again, even when it’s messy, slow, and doesn’t look the way people expect. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me with kindness. Your encouragement helps carry me through the days when believing in myself feels impossible. Because trust, even when I look strong on here.. I certainly have my share of those days too. Here’s to taking another step toward coming home to me. ❤️ #nutrition #TikTokShopMyWellnessJourney #healingprocess
