Pemerintah memang baru saja menerbitkan Perpres 27/2026 yang membawa angin segar berupa batasan potongan komisi aplikasi (maksimal 8%) dan jaminan sosial. Namun, terkait isu Driver ojol "bebas pajak", hal ini sebenarnya merujuk pada fasilitas PPh Final UMKM yang sudah berlaku. Faktanya, pengemudi ojol berstatus Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi memang berhak mendapatkan fasilitas Bebas PPh Final asalkan omzet (pendapatan kotor) dalam satu tahun pajak tidak melebihi Rp500 juta. Tapi ingat, bebas bayar bukan berarti bebas lapor ya. Rekan-rekan mitra ojol yang sudah ber-NPWP tetap wajib melakukan pencatatan penghasilan secara rapi dan melaporkan SPT Tahunan. --- The government has recently issued Presidential Regulation (Perpres) 27/2026, which brings good news in the form of capped application commission rates (maximum 8%) and enhanced social security. However, the "tax-free" claim actually refers to the existing MSME Final Income Tax (PPh Final) facility. The fact is, individual ride-hailing drivers are entitled to a Final Income Tax exemption as long as their gross turnover (gross income) in one tax year does not exceed Rp500 million. But remember, being exempt from paying doesn't mean you're exempt from reporting. Sunday Night Cheesy Mashed Potato Bake Sometimes all I want on a Sunday is a roast dinner and sometimes all I need are sausages and a great big pile of cheesy leek and cabbage mashed potato... This is the ultimate comfort food. It's based on the cheesy mash my mum used to make in the 90's, with the added joy of the leeks and cabbage, a few herbs and a dollop of mustard If you've got my cookbook Easy 10, there's a version of the cheesy baked mash in the potato chapter, but that one has a layer of smokey baked beans on the bottom, which is SO good! I've written up the recipe below - let me know if this one's going on the list! A x Makes enough for 4 2 leeks finely sliced 6 savoy cabbage leaves (tough middle part removed) finely sliced. 2 x 400g ready made mashed potato 1 tsp dijon mustard 1 tsp dried mixed herbs or Thyme 100g grated cheese (plus extra for topping) 200ml chicken stock Salt and pepper Heat a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan. Add the leek and cabbage and sauté on a low heat for 7 minutes until soft. Heat the oven to 200C fan Microwave the mash to packet instructions. Add the mash to a mixing bowl with the leek and cabbage, stock, mustard, dried herbs and 100g grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper and give it a good stir until the ingredients are combined. Place in an ovenproof dish. Smooth down until level and top with grated cheese.
