May I add, I also had horrendous cystic acne. I swapped out my deodorant and it got better almost immediately. Not gone, but much improved. It’s the Secret Gel one—I saw another creator who said they had this same problem

girl i saw a video about this the other day and checked and my toothpaste had it and my shampoo and conditioner had it’s like sister ingredient and when i tell you my chin and random parts of my cheek have been making me crash out for MONTHS i switched everything before the weekend and everything is already clearing up 🫠

I’ve used sensodyne for years, and the one time I changed to Colgate, I broke out all over my chin. I saw a video about this and changed back, so I haven’t thought about it since. But my SOAP never occurred to me. Brb running to see if my body wash, face wash and shampoo has it 😭

Can someone explain the how and why Sls does this? I think it’s happening to me too so is the toothpaste absorbing through my gums into the skin? Or is some getting on my skin/chin while brushing the reason? I need to know the why/how?!? lol
