Don’t remove the stove grates (the metal supports). The pot must rest on top of the grates, elevated above the flame, with enough space for proper airflow between the flame and the pot. ————— Crispy Pot Bread 🥖 Follow me for more recipes @hend.hd Dough: 2 cups flour + 2 tbsp powdered milk + 1 tbsp sugar + 1 tsp salt + ½ tsp yeast (do not fill the spoon completely) + 4 tbsp oil. Knead with ½ cup or more of warm water until the dough comes together. Cover and let it rest for 10–15 minutes. It does not need to rise. Roll out the dough and brush with oil, ghee, or butter. Trim the edges and fold the layers on top of each other. Roll it out again, cut into large squares, cover, and let rest for 7 minutes. Add your meat or cheese filling, shape into balls, and brush the tops with egg yolk or milk. Sprinkle with nigella seeds. Heat a metal or cast-iron pot thoroughly. To test the pot’s temperature, sprinkle a little water on it. If you hear a sizzling sound and see the water bubbling, it is ready. Then reduce the heat to low. Dip the bottom of each bread ball in water or egg white, then press it firmly against the sides of the pot to stick. Keep the heat low, cover the pot, and cook until the edges are golden brown. Turn the pot upside down and rotate it every minute to ensure even browning
