The whole concept doesn’t make any sense. You cannot boycott food shopping. All you do is move the sales to the following day. When the supermarket adds up their profit for the month, it will have made absolutely no difference.

so funny the amount of people saying it wont make a difference...nothing much makes a difference on its own but when everyone stands together it usually has a very clear effect

The government have already ensured supermarkets have record profits this month by telling everyone to stockpile. They aren’t stupid. They knew about this alleged boycott, so took action to protect the supermarkets 😂

I work in a supermarket, today I've been talking to colleagues & customers about the boycott, none of them knew anything about it!! but they pissed themselves laughing when I said it was just for one day😂😂, a one day protest won't even make a dent!!😂😂😂

for people who say "one day won't make a difference", think about all of the perishable food that will be going to waste at the supermarkets expense.

Easiest boycott ever! Anyone who knows about it and doesn’t take part must be going out of their way to be selfish, why on earth not try

Jam.Ellis :
Do we not realise the whole “stock pile for 3 days” and this Asda £60 of shopping for £30 was just to get the sales up so if this does happen on 28th it wont have ANY effect.
