The meme is "The 7th Element", a 2001 music video that spent more than a decade without leaving Russia. In June 2015, according to RBTH, a Reddit user posted the video and the West discovered it. On October 11, 2026, the official upload had 75.8 million views. This one is "Opera #2", the song that made him a star in Russia: best-selling single for three years running, from 2001 to 2003. In the original video, from December 2000, he plays a lonely man with gills who lives in a bathtub. There was even a rumor that the gills were real.
