Hey girl, I’m happy you’re feeling good. Just becarful and don’t overdue it. You may feel good, but your body is healing internally and your body is adjusting to losing some body parts. When I was post op day 3 after a hysterectomy I was up picking up the house, cooking a big dinner, did an everything shower and an hour later I was bleeding A LOT. My doctor let me have it! She reminded me why the healing is 6-8 weeks and why I wasn’t allowed to lift anything. I know you have so many people telling you what to do or giving advice that wasn’t asked for; just know it’s from a place of love! We don’t want to see you back in the hospital or have any complications! ❤️❤️❤️

If your cuff tears you will have to have surgery and start the healing process all over. My doctor warned me Its so deceptive the way you look and feel but the inside is a whole other story. Please get well!!

Girl….you need to rest to heal. “Full recovery from a hysterectomy takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending heavily on the surgical method used. Recovery Time by Surgical Method • Laparoscopic, Robotic-Assisted, or Vaginal Hysterectomy: Full recovery takes 2 to 6 weeks (frequently closer to 4–6 weeks).”

I’m so glad you are feeling better. I had a radical hysterectomy in 2025 and literally thought I felt better after a week and then hit the walk! please take it easy and just keep resting. I know it is hard because I am like a hummingbird I cannot stop moving, but you will feel better if you just take the time to rest.

Yes girl rest! If it’s any recovery like a c section most of the healing is internal. It’s so hard to stay still but let those insides heal

I could hardly walk myself to the bathroom day 4 post hysterectomy, let alone self tan, shower, etc. But like so many others are saying PLEASE rest. Almost all of your healing is internal and your vaginal cuff takes FOREVER to heal! ❤️❤️❤️
