@birriely: The Pentagon has launched an initiative called FORTRESS, designed to help major U.S. military bases continue operating if civilian power grids and supply chains are disrupted. According to an October 25, 2026 report, the military is planning for bases to operate independently for at least 90 days, with access to electricity, water, fuel, and communications. ⚠️ Does this mean America is about to experience a 90-day blackout? NO. There has been no official announcement of an upcoming nationwide blackout. The 90-day target is a reported military preparedness goal, not a prediction that the power will go out. ✅ Every household should have an emergency plan, drinking water, nonperishable food, flashlights, medications, and backup phone chargers. BE INFORMED. BE PREPARED. DON’T PANIC. 🇺🇸 What are your thoughts about the Pentagon preparing for such a prolonged disruption? #Pentagon #90DayBlackout #FORTRESS #PowerGrid #EmergencyPreparedness
