@kodekloud: HTTP Has a New Method: QUERY 🌐 Too many search filters can make a GET URL so long that your CDN rejects it before it reaches the server. Moving the filters into the body doesn’t fix it either, because GET was never meant to carry a body and many servers and CDNs ignore or reject it. QUERY sends the filters in the request body like POST, but tells caches and clients the request only reads data and can be safely repeated. So it can be cached and retried, which POST can’t do. Would you move your search APIs to QUERY today, or wait for wider support? Use GraphQL if you dealing with complex queries. Also handles caching

I don’t get it. I’ve never experienced GET or POST requests being an issue. So how does this solve a problem that didn’t exist in the first place?

so the URL you give out to get to the page can have query parameters.
this query is for fetch or data queries once initial page load
but then I guess for development testing need to switch to Postman which does support query. leaning on Get could test a minimal API

if this is really just because the urls were too long that’s so stupid. did anyone even try de-englishing the query parameters? there is so many wasted characters making it human readable
