We’ve Been Helping This Mother & Her 3 Children for 3 Years ❤️ Today, we are once again with a strong visually impaired mother and her three children. For the past three years, we have been walking alongside this family, and today we came to deliver their monthly essential groceries according to their shopping list. We also brought sanitary pads for the mother and daughter because caring for the health and dignity of women and girls is an important part of what we do. During our conversation, we asked the mother how helpful these monthly visits have been for her family. Her words touched our hearts. Since she cannot see or work, she told us that she often wonders how she would be able to raise her three children on her own. She described this journey as a blessing for her family and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to every individual who has been walking with them over the past three years. Her daughter also shared something that deeply moved us. When all three children leave for school and their mother is alone at home, she often worries and remains in tension about their future. We assured this family that they are not alone. We will continue to stand beside them, helping with their essential daily needs, housing challenges and the children’s education. Together with our project manager, the Principal, teachers and staff of Sarpang Middle Secondary School, we will work toward finding a solution to their housing situation before the next academic year if their current house needs to be dismantled. After losing her husband, this courageous mother has continued raising her three children despite being visually impaired. Her story reminds us that strength is not about having an easy life—it is about continuing to move forward even when life becomes difficult. Sometimes, we may not be able to change the whole world. But together, we can change someone’s world. One family. One journey. Three years together. And we will keep walking with them.
