That is so sad. They literally told him you can leave right now and everything would be waived and you won’t go to jail, but he continue to argue and debate when he could have found somewhere else to stay, I understand he probably might have been out of money or it seems as though his family wasn’t local, but even though like their shelters

I have a sneaking suspicion he actually has tenant rights in this situation and the hotel might have to legally evict him through the courts. If not they wouldn’t be negotiating with him; they’d just tell the cops to physically remove him.
