Taxi drivers, many of whom are not from the area, are at the centre of growing disagreements between the taxi association and members of the public. Ahead of the event, the public was informed that private vehicles would not be allowed and that taxi services would be available. Now even if passengers are willing to pay for the service members of the public say that taxi drivers are unwilling to provide transportation.

Private vehicles weren't allowed and we were clearly informed that taxi services would be available but when we actually needed a ride taxi drivers were unwilling to take us and we were left stranded people came to attend the event trusting the arrangements that were promised so if the public is expected to follow the rules then proper transportation should also be provided we deserve better arrangements and basic consideration
