We have had some incredible game drives, getting remarkably close to lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural environment. Today, I’m sharing a video of one particularly intense encounter. This powerful lion began roaring directly toward us. For a moment, it was certainly intimidating even a little scary. But this is where experience in the bush matters. I remained calm because I understood the lion’s behavior, knew our distance was safe, and trusted the experience of our professional safari driver.
