Okay so the most grueling slowburn I’ve ever read was 300k or 400k words and they had their one and only kiss in the final chapter in the 5th to last paragraph (it’s crazy that I’m choosing that one when I’ve literally read twyutd)

For a true slow burn? Probably one where they didn’t have their first kiss until about 600k then it took them the rest of the fic to get on the same page about liking each other. But also a little while back, I peeped a ship tag on a million word in-progress fic and while the ships is definitely not that’s not the main point of the story, I’m about 900k in and there’s been barely even a drop of a romantic dynamic between the two yet.

From the moment I met her last year, I knew it was only a matter of time before everything would click. These drills are specifically designed to develop flexibility through the thoracic spine (T-spine) and to mobilize the scapulae (shoulder blades). Why? Because true back extension doesn’t just come from “bending the spine.” It requires: ✅ Thoracic spine mobility to prevent overloading the lower back ✅ Scapular upward rotation and retraction to open the chest and shoulders ✅ Strength in the deep spinal stabilizers so extension is both safe and controlled This is why her backlines and extensions are improving so quickly her training isn’t just about flexibility, it’s about biomechanics working together. When the body understands how to coordinate mobility and stability, that’s when the artistry shines.
