Why is it not flagged for “not needed” if it’s not new it’s useless work for the pharmacy or pharmacist and increase error because it is busy I don’t for more than one reason (I agree im different… I’m a provider I prescribe meds) also I’ve been taking my meds for years I don’t need education every month on GI meds or cardiac meds I’ve been prescribed for years

I was a pharmacy technician for 10 years and I never judged people for the medications they are taking. My philosophy is if it helps you function and be productive then go for it. I did have a pharmacist that I worked for he would judge people all the time, he was a horrible pharmacist. A great pharmacist should never judge people for the medications they take. I love your philosophy.

I understand why she would ask that question. It’s only self-centered people who would think they’re important for others to single them out and judge. As a pharmacy technician. No. I don’t see my peers judging. People are vulnerable and are coming to the pharmacy for help. We are there to help. Work as if we’re working for Christ 🥹

When I was a pharmacy tech we never discussed about what patients took their medications or even wondered why. We were way too busy to talk or discuss reasons why. It’s like this pharmacists say here, they’re too busy making sure they fill the prescription correctly and not make any errors.

no, I do have some words to say for this topic for real. Pharmacists won't judge when people taking meds for their private parts or STD, BUT THEY DO JUDGE when trans people taking testosterone or estrogen for HRT. I can't speak for all, but pharmacists need to do better by setting their beliefs aside
