This is so interesting because I saw a pilot on here discussing the crash, and he specifically pointed out that the co-pilot described the turbulence as moderate. But based on the actual flight data, he said it was definitely not just moderate and seemed to be severe. It makes me wonder if this was another instance of the captain downplaying the severity of the situation and the co-pilot having to follow his lead
