Stop rubbing your eyes the wrong way 👁️ Rubbing feels good in the moment but here’s what it actually does: • Irritates the surface of the eye (cornea) • Worsens dryness and inflammation • Can spread bacteria → higher risk of infection • Weakens the cornea over time leading to worsened vision (keratoconus) If you feel the urge to rub, do this instead: ✔️ Wash your hands first ✔️ Close your eyes ✔️ Gently press or massage along the bone around your eye (orbital bone)—not the eyeball! ✔️ Use preservative-free artificial tears to relieve irritation ✔️ Try a cold compress for itching or swelling Your eyes are delicate tissue. Treat them gently, and they’ll last you a lifetime ✨ #ophthalmology #eyesurgery #keratoconus #visioncorrection #contactlenses

#MwenyeziMungu #DuaZilizojibiwa #FadhilaZaDhikr #sheikhsulaymanalruhayli #CapCut
