Any O’Reilly can scan it for free and tell you whether it’s the battery, alternator, or the starter! They have a machine that tests the quality of all three!

Charge it again just like you did and go to your nearest autozone they’ll take it out and put a new one in for you I paid under $160 for a new battery

Driving does not charge the battery: the battery charges when it is at rest;more than likely, it is your alternator dying on you; I went through the same thing of my car not starting right away and eventually it died in the middle of a very busy intersection; my car was a 2015, so I think you said once yours is a 2012, so it most definitely could be the alternator and they are not cheap to replace

your alternator is going out if it did not already but if the battery is more than 3 yrs old change it to but it seems like your alternator is main issue

I had the same thing happen with my VW and auto parts store would not touch my car even for a battery. I had to take it to the dealership.

Had the same issue with my car, I would take it to auto zone and get it scanned. Mine was the alternator.

its either battery or the alternator. with my old car its died on me in the middle of the road luckily was in my neighborhood and I thought it was my battery but it ended up being my alternator so I had to get one the next day. then a month later after ended up getting a new car 😂

Girl don’t wear a claw clip when your in a vehicle because if you get into a car accident and when your head hits the headrest the clip can cause a very serious head injury 🤕

Used to work for a battery company now a FA you need to go to VW get a new one and programmed! That “Charger or driving around won’t work” only gives it a surface charge.
