I bake a lot , and really you should never use whipped cream cheese in baking . The changes the entire texture of whatever you are baking . Whipped cream cheese has air beaten into it and a different moisture and protein structure than traditional block cream cheese. When baked, the extra air and altered density can make a pastry dough crumbly, dry, or unable to hold a flaky, tender crust. Remember a Tassie it supposed to be a cross between a cookie dough and pecan pie dough. Also traditionally you do not use maple syrup in a Tassie, all you need is the brown sugar for sweetness. it’s plenty sweet. They looked delicious, but I think the texture and sweetness may be off. ❤️

I'm just wondering why you don't use your stainless steel bowl that comes with the KitchenAid mixer I have the same exact one same color but I love my stainless steel bow and I would never use a wooden Bowl that's for salad with my KitchenAid mixer you obviously like it which is fine I was just wondering why you use that instead of your stainless steel bowl LOL

Do you have a recipe for half moon pecan crescents? My grandmother made them and she was Russian. I remember the dough having conf sugar and had to be refrigerated. The filling had pecans and dates that cooked in a sauce. Do you know a recipe. We called them half moons or crescent cookies. The inside was the filling, then put it inside the dough n shape into half moons n sprinkle w conf sugar.

@she who returns LAUNCHES TOMORROW! Link in bio to sign up! When I moved to Italy alone, didn't speak the language, and was in the middle of the hardest spiritual awakening of my life... the last thing l expected was to feel lonely. I had chosen this. I had chosen to leave. To rebuild. To heal. And Italy was giving me so much - the land, the olive trees, the stillness, the food, the slow mornings that felt like medicine after 15 years of running on empty in LA. But there was something I couldn't find there. Something I didn't even know how to look for. Women who understood what this felt like. The shedding. The becoming. The strange grief of leaving a life that no longer fit. The exhilaration and the terror of building something completely new from the ground up. I wanted sisters. Not just friends. Sisters. The kind who sit with you in the hard parts without trying to fix them. The kind who are asking the same questions you are. The kind who make you feel less like you're going crazy and more like you're just waking up. And then I started hosting retreats in Italy. And I watched something magical happen over and over again. Women would arrive as strangers. Within days they were sharing things they had never said out loud to anyone. They were finding each other in a way that most of us spend our whole lives searching for. And then they'd go home. And my heart would break a little every time. Because they'd message me weeks later saying they missed the women on the retreat more than they expected. That they'd never felt so seen. And that going back to normal life felt lonelier than before because now they knew what real sisterhood felt like. And then they'd go home. And my heart would break a little every time. Because they'd message me weeks later saying they missed the women on the retreat more than they expected. That they'd never felt so seen. And that going back to normal life felt lonelier than before because now they knew what real sisterhood felt like. I knew that feeling intimately. I had been living it. So I decided to build the thing I was looking for. A place where the retreat doesn't have to end. Where women from every corner of the world can find each other, go deep, stay connected, and keep returning to themselves, together. It's called She Who Returns. And it opens in 2 days! I've never been more excited to share something that i truly my passion.#sisterhood #community #spiritualawakening
