i hate to hear this. my favorite musician is Zedd and he has spoken in interviews before about how after his sophomore album, he didn’t feel he had anything to “say” for a new album. i will suggest to you what i wish i was important enough to suggest to him: find a subject with a lot of depth—something that appears to be far afield from music—and learn it so well that you can “hear the music”. i believe strongly that if you do this, inspiration will find you again.
