Breastfeeding is natural, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. ❤️ Supply issues, difficulty with latch, pain, and conflicting advice can make an already challenging time even harder. Having the RIGHT support matters. A knowledgeable, compassionate IBCLC can help you navigate those challenges, understand your options, and make decisions that work for you and your baby. Without judgment or pressure. Research suggests that lactation support can improve breastfeeding rates. If we could extend those benefits to every new mother in the United States, potentially hundreds of thousands more babies could still be receiving breast milk at six months each year. Think about that. Not because we convinced more mothers to breastfeed, but because we gave more mothers who WANT to breastfeed the resources to do so. We need to stop putting all the responsibility on mothers and start building systems that actually support them. Breastfeeding support should be accessible to every family, not just those who can afford it. ❤️ #BreastfeedingSupport #IBCLC #MaternalHealth #PostpartumSupport #Pediatrics @Courtney Skipworth RN-IBCLC
