Muslims are conservative on the whole but Zohran Mamdani (NYC mayor), Abdul El-Sayed (MI Senator), Keith Ellison (MN Attorney Gen), Ilhan Omar (MN Representative) and basically every elected Muslim in America supports gay marriage.

this assumption can be applied to so many diff things aswell. this is not how politics works, you look at the ppl running and their campaigns and what they stand for and vote accordingly. ppl acting like the counterparts to these muslim representatives are the holy accepting ones is crazy considering they’re not. religion and politics shouldnt overlap so when you’re voting make sure who you’re voting for doesnt overlap them regardless of religion.

to be fair, i took a college course on islam and read the quran for myself and they are called to “holy war” aka “holy” violent acts in the name of allah. islam teaches that it takes 5 women to equal one man. I agree everyone has the right to have their beliefs represented, but the beliefs of Islam are not of peace or equality.
