@𝟐𝟕.𝟎𝟓.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 ᥫ᭡ کانٹوں کا کیا قصور، پیر تو میں نے رکھا تھا، مجھے معلوم تھا راستہ آسان نہیں پھر بھی میں چلتا رہا۔ جس راہ میں درد لکھا تھا، اسے اپنی قسمت سمجھ کر قبول کرتا رہا۔ لوگوں نے سمجھایا بہت، مگر دل نے ہر بار تمہاری طرف جانے کا راستہ چن لیا۔ زخم ملتے رہے اور میں ہر زخم کو محبت کی قیمت سمجھ کر سہتا رہا۔ آخر ایک دن احساس ہوا کہ تکلیف کانٹوں نے نہیں، میری اپنی امیدوں نے دی تھی۔ میں نے غلط لوگوں سے وفا مانگی اور پھر اپنی ہی وفاداری کا ماتم کرتا رہا۔ اب نہ راستے سے شکایت ہے، نہ کانٹوں سے کوئی گلہ باقی ہے۔ بس افسوس اتنا ہے کہ جس منزل کو اپنا سمجھا، وہ کبھی میری تھی ہی نہیں۔ اور اب زخمی قدموں کے ساتھ واپس لوٹنا بھی ممکن نہیں، کیونکہ دل وہیں کہیں پیچھے رہ گیا ہے۔

Most people see the laughter. We see the questions. Rett syndrome can be complicated because not every episode looks the same, and not every symptom has a clear explanation. As her mom, I’m constantly observing, documenting, and learning so I can better support her through Rett syndrome and epilepsy and communicate with her medical team. You’ll notice her hands shaking toward the end of the video. Was it tremors? Was it the aftermath of a Rett episode? Was it focal seizure activity? We don’t know.
